Obituary of Albert Catron Jr.
Please share a memory of Albert to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Albert Catron Jr. was born May 2, 1944 in Beloni, Mississippi to the proud parents of Ordee Delaney and Albert Catron was the only child of Ordee Delaney. Albert Catron attended McNair School. Later Albert accepted Christ and became Junior Deacon of Goodwill, M.B.C. Baptist Church. Albert Catron was married twice then later in 1989, he met the love of the life, Loretta Shaw. Later in 1999, Loretta Shaw became his wife. Albert embraced life to the fullest. Albert loved to dance and sing or just having fun. He was a very talkative person. That earned him the nickname “Politics”, the experiences it had to offer. He was a funny man and a devoted friend to all who is blessed to have known him. Albert was employed by Steel Mill and Postal Carrier where we retired.
Albert was called home February 16, 2023. The lord released Albert from his pain and suffering and delivered him to the world of serenity and to join his parents, his brother, Terry, his daughter, Latica, his grandson, Torri, and his granddaughter, Larriyiah. Albert leaves to cherish and celebrate his home going 7 children, Elaine Catron Draine (Andre), Albert Catron Jr. (ReRe), Lamarfette Powell, Cornell Powell, Marlin Shaw, Loretta Shaw and Larry Catron; his brother, Albert B. Catron; sister, Diane Catron; and god kids, Fred Allen and Raikwon Allen. He also leaves 46 grandkids and 31 great grandkids; and a host of nieces and nephews, and friends that loved him dearly.
