Obituary of Julie Anne Scott
Julie Anne Welborn Scott, 57, of Indianapolis, IN passed away on November 11, 2022. Julie was born in Indianapolis, IN on May 29, 1965, to Robert E. and Victoria L. Veliz-Amato Welborn.
Julie worked for a time at St. Francis Beech Grove, St. Vincent 86th, and Health South Surgery Center. She spent 21 years at Naab Road Surgery Center where she met her best friends. Julie loved reading and gardening. She was a member of St. Monica Catholic Church and Volunteered at the National Catholic Youth Conference (NCYC) for several years. She loved playing softball and volleyball recreationally, as well as played in the annual Tooley/Cox Family golf outing. She loved listening to all kinds of music. She loved dogs, especially golden retrievers. She loved working out and enjoy participating in mini marathons. Each year she would run or walk in the Ovar’Coming Together ovarian cancer research 5k.
Julie is preceded in death by her father Robert E. Welborn. She is survived by her husband of 36 years David Scott; son Mitchell Scott; daughter Lindsey (Tom) St. Amand; mother Victoria Welborn; sister Marilyn Peelle; brothers Robert (Beege) Welborn and Anthony Welborn; and nephews RC. Welborn, Graham (Jackie) Peelle and Chad Peelle.
