Loretta Freelove

Loretta Lee (Turner) Freelove, 73, passed away at home on July 7, 2019 after a long-fought battle with cancer. She was born on October 8, 1945 in Indianapolis to Paul and Nellie Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Nellie Turner, and her brother Paul Jr. She attended Ben Davis High School and graduated from Arsenal Technical High School. She attended Clark College for accounting and business. She worked for several companies in the business office and/or accounting. She retired from Mechanic Laundry.

 

Loretta is survived by her husband of 35 years, Terry; daughter, Evette; her son, Ric; grandson, Daved and great-grandson Jakson. She is also survived by two sisters, Reba and Kathe; two brothers, Robert and William (Lisa); a sister-in-law, Geneva Turner; several nieces and nephews and many friends. She was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church. Loretta enjoyed spending time with her grandson, Daved and all his activities and more recently with her new great-grandson, Jakson. She enjoyed flower gardening both outside and inside with her house plants.

The family appreciated the loving and supportive care provided by Heart to Heart Hospice.
