Precious Makeda Chambers

        Precious Makeda Chambers was born on July 11, 1993 to the union of Ray Jr. and Marie Chambers. She moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan with her family while still a young child.

        Precious accepted Christ at an early age. Precious received her formal education within the Michigan Public School System. She was an honor student and athlete who ran track and field. She exceled in Math and loved to read. Precious was crowned Ms. Congeniality in 2011 at Hartford High School. She graduated 5th in her class in 2011.

        Precious was beautiful, smart, loving, funny and very hard worker. She was employed at the Tyson Food Plant as a team leader for 5 years.

        In 2012, Precious gave birth to twins, daughter, Michah Mendoza and son, Marquis Mendoza.

        Precious departed this life on May 21, 2019. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Martha Jean Hemingway.

        She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Ray Chambers Jr., Marie Chambers, her children, Michah and Marquis Mendoza, her brother Lucas Clark, her sisters, Martha Chambers, Ollissa Chambers, and Rachel Chambers, niece, Emma Rose, and a host of other relatives and friends.
