Kenneth W. Rusie was born on April 11, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN and was called home on March 5, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents Wilbur J. and Ida Blanche Rusie. He joins his parents siblings, and daughter Debbie in eternal life. Kenneth and his wife Joyce were married May 6, 1961 and celebrated 58 years of marriage together.
Kenneth has a passion for boxing and martial arts. He competed at the Golden Gloves in the Chicago, known as “Ice Man”.
Kenneth had a rambunctious youth but settled down to raise three children with his wife Joyce in Indianapolis. He worked as a security officer for several years and went on to own his won painting business. He was know as a hard worker and would tough out any injury to get the job done. It was his tough guy spirit that he was known for. He was the patriarch of the family and you could go to him for advice because he seemed to have knowledge and wisdom about just about everything in life.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Joyce, sons Michael and Ronald, grandchildren Erich, Cassandra, and Sarah and great grandchildren Mikayla, Carter, Christian, and Gracie.
