Rodney Holliday

It is with great sadness that the family of Rodney Holliday Sr. announces his passing on July 10,2018 at the age of 67 years old.

 

Rodney was born January 29, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He worked as a conductor engineer for Conrail Railroad.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Rodney was a member of Light of the World Christian Church for the last 14 years, of which he was a very active member.  He lovingly participated in the church food pantry, and the annual Christmas Giveaway.

 

In his spare time, he loved reading, listening to jazz, cooking, and was a grill master.  He had a passion for fashion, and was known for his stylish suits, shoes, and furs.  He loved sports, and was a die-hard Lebron James fan.

 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother: Bertha V. Holliday-Jones, Daughters: Lisa Rowland (Aaron), Mikita Holliday-Love (Larry-deceased), Sons: Rodney Holliday II (Candyce), Jarrell Holliday (Jasmine), Step Sisters: Christy Rice and Barbara Jones, Aunt: Vickie “O’Mally” Hood (James), Special Friend: Pearle Washington, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends
