Patty Rosella Easton

Patty Rosella Easton was born on December 22, 1961 to Charles E. Easton and Katie D. Easton in Columbus Indiana. Patty passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 12 at Community South Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was known and will be remembered as a strong, kind person with a glowing personality. She enjoyed babysitting, cooking, and spending time with love ones.

Patty lived a happy fulfilling life. She always had a smile on her face unless you did something to set her offJ Then, you would see that strong person with a momma stare and a “I “aint” going to take any mess from anyone” attitude. However, it was mostly in her nature to be a loving person. The kids in the neighborhood called her “Momma Patty” because she babysat most of them. This title was also fitting because she was the babysitter of the family; she willingly took on this role and was like a mother to her nieces and nephews. She also loved cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She made some of the best fried chicken and fried fish. She seemed happy in the kitchen. Beyond her great cooking skills, she liked having fun—sitting with you watching tv laughing and talking, hanging out with her long-time friend Ethal Darlene King or going fishing and spending time at the casino with her fiancée Phillip Morris.

Patty leaves us to rest in peace with her parents Charles and Katie Easton. She also leaves a large family to cherish her memories: her daughter, Quiana Easton, her grandsons Mario D. Easton and Tye’Ran L Wilson, her granddaughter Naiona D. Patrick, her brothers Charles E Easton Jr., Timothy G. Easton, David Easton, Tiny Martinez Winston, and her sisters Tonya L. Easton, Laura M. Haines, Sheila A. Easton, Sherri Hart, and Monica R. Easton. She also leaves behind her like-a-son Aaron L Paige, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will remember her glowing presence and kind spirit.
