Thomas D. Mitchell was born to Mother, “Jenny” Mitchell and Father, Tom Mitchell in Indianapolis, IN. Thomas had a joyful voice and a love for song. He was featured in various 1950’s groups such as “The Twilighters” and “The Boppers”. He was later featured in an anthology of Indianapolis music called “Let the Good Times Roll” published in 2002. Thomas went on to sing for the Lord; joining a local church. Thomas D Mitchell fathered two daughters and a son Thomas Donald Mitchell Jr (deceased). Thomas also worked fulltime with Eli Lilly and retired after 28 years of service.
Thomas D. Mitchell, age 83, was called home at Sunday June 17, 2018. He survived by his children Janice Mitchell, Cathy Wilson, grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of many more. Thomas was a loving person to all whom he encountered in this world. He will be remembered as hardworking man of family and faith.
