The aunt we love remains with us
for love itself lives on,
and cherished memories never fade
because a loved one’s gone.
Those we love can never
be more than a thought apart,
far as long as there is memory,
she’ll live on in in heart.

Aunt Clara gave me a beautiful African American wedding doll for Christmas when I was about five years old and I remember in her home auntie had a large picture of Jesus Christ & Martin Luther King hanging on the wall, auntie was special, caring and a blessing to all.
